Recipes from a three year old

My son's preschool class had a really interesting activity for the Thanksgiving holiday.  A group of three year olds were to explain how to cook a Turkey.  Some of the responses were fantastically awesome, while some were rather straight and plain (one student said to put salt and pepper on the turkey then set it on the grill to cook).
But my son came up with a good one.  Top the turkey with chicken and doughnuts with sprinkles.  Then put in the microwave for five days.
I don't know about the microwave part, but I might have to try a new version of the "turducken"  I'll call it The Turdoughkun.  You know, looking at the spelling of either of those things just doesn't look appetizing.

Going in a New Direction

Well, I did it.  Not only have I started a blog, I have also created an account on etsy in order to sell my wares.  And just like this blog, my etsy store is sparse.  But hey, you got to start somewhere.

I love working with small glass beads, stringing each one until I have the strand the way I want.  For me, it is almost a meditation for those restless evenings.  And eventually I hope to make just a few dollars.  I'm not a pessimist, but a realist.  I don't expect to gain fame and fortune but if I can earn a few extra dollars to put in my son's college account (he's only a toddler now, but with only one income we can never start too early) I'll be one happy camper.

So, check out etsy.com and search for me, BeeAGoddess.

Now, lets see how I do on this path.

Insomnia and the unmotivated

I'm going through another bout of insomnia.  No, there is nothing burning in my mind, my subconscious is not yearning to overflow me with grand insights, I simply woke up at four in the morning and could not go back to sleep.  So, what does the unsleeping Mom do?  she plays around on the internet waiting for the rest of the house to wake up.  I think I need more interesting hobbies.
